Here are some excerpts from the 1801 census in Norway. The census is grouped by farms, and I have included farms where I have found some of our ancestors. It provides a "slice of life", as you can look at the occupations, note that there are occasionally female heads of family, and there are paupers (none of our relatives, apparently). Anyway, take a look, I find it quite interesting.
